CDHB asks for the return of unused hospital equipment.
The Canterbury District Health Board asks for the return of overdue hospital equipment, to ensure its hospitals are well-stocked.
Every year thousands of patients are loaned equipment to assist them to recover at home but sometimes people forget to return the item by its due date.
Types of loaned equipment include wheelchairs, crutches, shower stools, commodes, seats and walking frames.
There is no penalty for overdue equipment and returns can go to:
211 Blenheim Road, Christchurch Hospital, Rangiora Hospital and Ashburton Hospital.
If you are genuinely unable to return equipment, please telephone (03) 3640 700.
