The Housing for Women Trust is a Registered Charitable Trust based in Christchurch, New Zealand. It was established in 1988 to assist women with their housing needs.

Services of the Trust

-The provision of affordable housing to women on low income with significant housing needs
-To provide information and advice on all housing issues such as tenancy issues, emergency accommodation, other community and social housing providers
-To provide other assistance such as free woollen blankets, curtain vouchers for Community Energy Action Curtain Bank, and referrals to other organisations as appropriate
Office hours Monday-Thursday 10 am – 3.00pm; but clients are advised to make an appointment or to phone first before dropping in to check that the office is open, as they are not a drop in and sometimes are called away and need to close the office.
