Internet Gateway includes some links that may be of particular interest
to older people. Refer to above website & click on Internet Gateway on left side of the screen.

Fendalton Library has a large print screen for accessing the library
catalogue. It’s useful for customers with low vision. Also have large receipt printers.

Talking Books – each library has its own service.

Some libraries offer tuition to help you use your cell phone and offer basic computing skills.

Jigsaws are available for exchange at the following libraries: Akaroa,
Fendalton, Linwood, New Brighton, Redwood, and Shirley.
Hornby Library jigsaws are held at the Community Care shop in the same
building. The Community Care shop is open 9:30 – 3 pm, Monday to Friday, telephone 349 9793.

Banks Peninsula residents can look on the above website under the heading “My Library”, then click on “Find Our Libraries”, click on the relevant area to find out telephone numbers and hours.
