Christchurch Resettlement Services provides free, confidential, services to Refugees and Migrants who come to live in Christchurch. Social Workers are able to help with: Income/benefit concerns; Housing; Health care; Dental care; Family concerns; School issues; Feelings of fear, worry, sadness, anger; Relationships; Clothing and household equipment; Information and counselling. The bilingual workers can: Act as interpreters; Work with refugees, migrants and social worker; Help with visiting government departments, schools, doctors etc.

Ladies Exercise to Music – Tuesdays & Thursdays 11.30am-12.15pm, 166 St Asaph St (next to the Migrant Centre) Free entry NO CLASSES DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

Ladies Swimming – Swimming will start again mid October – details about date + times to follow

50+yrs Social Programme – Visits/outings for over 50 year olds – Next Outing: To be confirmed for Term 3

Youth Activities – Contact Lisa if you are aged between 12-24 years old and would like to know about fun school holiday activities for young people from refugee or migrant backgrounds
