PEETO provides: English for Speakers of Other Languages courses (ESOL); Vocational Training and Workbased Training; Computer Training; Cultural Orientation courses for Migrants and Refugees; Drivers Licence courses (Theory); An employment programme (funded by the Immigration Service) in association with the Refugee and Migrant Centre. Professional assessment of students’ needs – all PEETO students and prospective students are professionally assessed to determine their general and specific needs; Referrals and Support Services – all students have the opportunity to be referred to Refugee and Migrant Service or to Refugee and Migrant Centre for advice and guidance on any matter. PEETO students can also be referred to specialist support from any of the many agencies in the Refugee and Migrant Network. All PEETO staff are qualified and experienced in teaching and working with people from different cultures. International student service for non-residents is also available.
