Kathleen Crisley has operated Canine Catering in Christchurch since 2007. She has been certified in both canine sports massage and canine therapeutic massage and is a mobile service so dogs can receive physiotherapy in the comfort of their owner’s home. An infrared laser system is also available to support healing. Dogs always receive a treat after their massage and owners can buy preservative-free handmade dog treats from the company too.
Kathleen has trained in pet nutrition and can assess your dog’s food and diet for assistance in weight loss and other conditions. Website: www.caninecatering.co.nz. Kathleen writes for the NZ Kennel Club magazine and also authors a blog at www.doggymom.com
Physiotherapy for dogs is something of a new concept to Christchurch and New Zealand but it is widely used in other countries.
She is happy to participate in talks for the elderly as a community outreach service and so keep her in mind if you require guest speakers for meetings. Her dog, Daisy, is very social and is adored by everyone. She has used her before demonstrating relaxation methods in talks and training sessions with pet owners.
