The Retirement Villages Association’s key role concerns the establishment, promotion and maintenance of standards of excellence by member villages. The RVA requires strict audit and accreditation processes for compliance with a Code of Practice and minimum Operating Standards. The Code of Practice includes standards of care and management; standards of disclosure to residents in relation to monies paid; and monitoring procedures to ensure villages maintain high standards of service.
