SeniorNet Mac is an incorporated Society and is run with the help of volunteer tutors. The group has been established just for seniors who use Macintosh computers. SeniorNet Mac offers a friendly, supportive environment in which to learn computer skills. Tutors and members will be teaching and helping each other. Courses offered include: Basic Introductory Course, Word processing, Email, Internet, Database, Spreadsheets, and Microsoft Word and Designing a Web Page. Also Workshops on Ipods, Iphones, cameras etc. Courses are eight weeks and workshops 2 hours. Open to anyone 50 years of age or over. For people living outside Christchurch, ‘distance learning’ is available with individual tutoring and subjects including email, word processing, internet, 2 hour workshop covering a variety of topics is held. Course & workshop times are either 10am to 12 noon or 2pm to 4 pm.
Full membership $30 Single and $50 per Couple
Subscription renewals are $20 Single and $30 per couple
