The Social Outing Service is for people over 65, who are experiencing social isolation and loneliness, who live in their own home and would enjoy more company. This service in available in Christchurch only. Clients need to be able to transfer independently on and off our minibus.

SOCIAL CONNECTION REFERRAL GUIDELINES
Host Outings are fortnightly outings, to a host’s home or community group, for morning or afternoon tea. Transport is provided. Donation: $7
Café Groups are fortnightly outings to different cafes. Transport is available or the client can drive and meet the group. Donation: Gold Coin. Clients pay for their own morning or afternoon tea.
