Marathon fundraiser for 8 year old

Eight year old Max is running a marathon to raise funds for vulnerable elders in Canterbury. This amazing young man is completing 6.2 kilometres around his family backyard each day for 7 days and after 192 laps he will have run the equivalent of a full marathon (42.2 kilometres).

Max was inspired by the efforts of Captain Tom Moore in the UK who at 99 years old completed 100 laps in his own backyard to raise funds for the NHS. Max’s concern for lonely, older people in his own community prompted him to start his marathon and start a givealittle page; Max’s Marathon for Vulnerable Elders
(which directly supports the work of Age Concern Canterbury)

Well done Max we think you are amazing !
