Offer support and services to the Kaiapoi Community. Volunteer drivers are available. Foodbank: Monday to Thursday 9am – 3pm. Available 9am-5pm. Offer affordable counselling for children couples and families (single sessions are available). Older people are welcome.  By referral only. Live-in parenting programme – 6 weeks – with 24 hour support.  

Community Alcohol And Drug Service

A service run by the Specialist Mental Health Division of Canterbury Health. Offers treatment for people struggling with alcohol and drug addiction as well as having a mental health diagnosis.

Battered Womens Trust ( Womens Refuge )

Practical help and support is available for any woman who is the victim of domestic violence. The Trust is affiliated to the National Collective of Independent Women’s Refuge and networks closely with other Christchurch Refuges: West Christchurch Refuge, Rose House, Otautahi Women’s Refuge; and also work closely with Shakti.
