ACCREDITED VISITING SERVICE (AVS):
A service for isolated older people, living alone. The aim is for a volunteer to establish a friendship with an older person by spending exclusive quality time with him/her on a regular basis. Orientation and on going support is provided.

HOME SUPPORT SERVICES:
Gardening, Hairdressing, Home Help, Window cleaning, Footcare, TRADESMEN and HANDYMEN at reasonable rates. Someone for every job about the home including appliance repair, rail fitting and plumbing needs.

PUBLICATIONS – Full range of brochures, Keeping On – quarterly newspaper available 3 monthly with a $15.00 annual subscription or it can be picked up at your local Library or New World Supermarket. Other helpful publications available.
COURSES:
Staying Safe – Refresher Course for Mature Drivers:
Refresh older drivers knowledge of road rules and address the issue of driving behaviour.
There is a $10 charge for morning tea and lunch.
Further courses may be available:
Life without a car- Two hour course to increase awareness of the effects of ageing on our ability and confidence on the road, look at alternatives to driving, increase our awareness of services and entitlements that may help and encourage participants to overcome barriers and remain active in the community.

MEMBERSHIP: Become an Age Concern Member $20.00 or $30.00 a couple (this gives the member the right to vote at the AGM). All of our services are available to anyone aged over 65 years regardless of membership.
