Healthcare NZ offer Nursing care – Post-operative care, palliative care, long term care, overnight care, wound care, diabetes and other nursing services
Personal Care – Bathing/showering, dressing/undressing, toileting, supervision of medication, transferring and positioning
Home Help – Bed making, cleaning, dusting, laundry, ironing, vacuuming, Preparing and assisting with meals, and other essential household tasks.
Referrals can be received from GP, Family/Whanau, Friend, Assessment Unit, Disability Assessors, Hospitals or self referral.

Also includes Mental Health Support Services. Individualised packages of care tailored to meet each persons recovery goals.

Following a referral, a needs assessment will be completed by the appropriate assessment services to help determine what care is required and to what extent it will be subsidised.
