The service is for people using other Nurse Maude Association services and who require advice on nutrition. Provides assessment of dietary needs for a wide range of medical conditions. Support to caregivers providing nutrition to loved ones. Dietary education to promote individual well being. Monitoring and adjustment of feeding regimes for people with terminal illness. An individual is referred to the Nutrition service by other health care professionals within the Association, for example District Nursing, Specialist Nursing Services, Home Care. Palliative Care and Hospice Service and the Memorial Hospital. For people receiving other Nurse Maude Association services there is no charge.
