Kakakura Health Services provides Kaupapa Maori Mental Health Services for people who experience mental illness.
Kakakura Health Services uses Tikaka Maori (Maori beliefs, values and practices) and its own Momo Takata Ora model (Maori Health Model) that focuses on the whole wellbeing of the whanau, including toiora (spiritual), hauora (mental), waiora (emotional) and mauri-ora (physical) dimensions. Our services are available to all people who meet the criteria for referral and wish to be supported in a Kaupapa Maori environment.
“Aroha ki te Takata” – “Love and hospitality to all people”
