No matter where you are in your home, or out in the garden, if ever you need medical assistance, simply press your St John Lifelink Medical Alarm (pendant or wristband) button. They are lightweight, water resistant and can be worn in the shower. The call will go straight to the St John Communications Centre and they will ‘phone back to see if help or assistance is needed. If the ‘phone is not answered an immediate call out will be activated and either contact with specified person will be made, or ambulance will be on its way. The alarms have a daily automatic self testing function and battery backup for added safety. An approved supplier by Work and Income and a Disability Allowance may be available for the monthly hire cost of the alarm.
